Workshop: Algae Solutions for a Thriving Blue Economy
This workshop brings together policy makers, NGOs, scientists, and industry experts to explore the latest breakthroughs in algae value chains, zero-waste biorefinery schemes, and environmental safety across Europe.
The workshop builds on the findings of the SeaMark, CircAlgae and REALM projects, involving 63 partners from 17 European countries, and covering the Atlantic, Baltic, and Mediterranean regions.
It will start with short presentations by experts from the projects on the opportunities of algae, barriers encountered during R&D and actionable points. In an interactive session, participants will then identify the most suitable solutions needed to strengthen Europe’s sustainable algae sector and unlock the full potential of algae-based innovations.
